Wash your hands without producing landfill waste! This starter kit comes with two hand soap refills and a hand soap dispenser to get you started on your refill journey. This kit reduces your carbon footprint by reducing waste to the landfill and minimizing plastic production and waste by using only recyclable packaging and materials.
The environmentally friendly pump dispenser is a lead-free glass spray bottle with a premium BPA-free, matte black stainless steel pump dispenser. Our hope is that this alternative to the cheap plastic bottles and cheap plastic soap dispensers often sold in stores, this glass bottle with good quality and long-lasting soap dispenser will save plastic in the long run. Since the pump dispenser is mostly made with a stainless steel exterior and a BRAP-free HDPE plastic (a commonly recycled plastic) pump parts and straw.
The hand soap refills are a non-toxic, plastic-free, dye-free, zero-waste alternative (with only 5 ingredients!). This hand soap refill is the first powder-to-liquid soap on the market and deeply cleans with the power of nature without the need for harsh chemicals. Each refill tube comes in a fully recyclable aluminum tube and makes 9oz of moisturizing hand soap lotion.

Although we wish we could provide you with a 100% plastic-free soap dispenser, trust us when we say that we've searched and searched and searched the darkest depths of the internet and have found ZERO plastic-free pumps. Until we design and paten one ourselves, we want to provide you with the most eco-friendly and convenient option there is out there. However, we hope you will consider reusing a pump from an old bottle and purchase just our glass bottle to save on plastic.
Hand Soap Ingredients
Sodium lauryl sulfacetate, algin, sodium gluconate, fragrance oil, kaolin clay. See below for detailed ingredient information.
Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSA) should not be mistaken for Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). SLS is a synthetic ingredient while SLSA is naturally derived from coconut and palm oils. They are both surfactants that create bubbles and lather in cleansers, but that is where the similarity ends. SLSA is mild for your hair, removes oils and bacteria and has good cleansing properties.
Algin is a type of carbohydrate found in brown seaweeds. It is used as the thickening agent when your powder gets added to water. Algin is also used a food additive and is in a variety of health products and has medicinal properties.
Sodium gluconate is the foaming agent used in your powder hand soap. It is naturally produced from the fermentation of glucose and is a naturally-occurring sodium salt of gluconic acid.
Kaolin clay is a silicate mineral clay which has been used for centuries as a skin care product. Kaolin clay naturally cleanses, absorbs unneeded oils, exfoliates, soothes skin, and evens out skin tone.
